Lois Pearl Kindervater Richards

Lois Pearl Kindervater Richards, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on March 14, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born November 25, 1925. She was the second child of Gerhart Richard and Pearl Kindervater. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gerhard Richard, Jr. Her husband of 53 years, James Leroy Richards predeceased her in 1998. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara J Horn of Sherwood, Arkansas and Carole A Young and husband, Nathaniel, of Heath, Texas. She was very proud of her five grandchildren; Lisa Washington, Michelle Dawly, Laura Blood, Ryan Mueller, and Ashley Mueller and her eight great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School and Little Rock University (University of Arkansas at Little Rock). She taught in the Lutheran and Catholic school systems for over 30 years and was a dedicated teacher who loved and admired her students each and every day. The family will welcome friends on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th Street, in Little Rock. A celebration of her life will be conducted on March 18, 2013, at the First Lutheran Church, 314 East 8th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72202 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark.
