Rachel Bugh

Rachel Bugh, 89, of Fort Smith, died March 20, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born Sept. 21, 1923 in Greenville, S.C. to H.H. and Lena Goodwin. Rachel was a seamstress for Hunt's Department Store and later for Beall-Ladymon Department Store. She loved quilting and was a member of Oak Cliff Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She is survived by three sons, Quin Bugh Jr. of Spiro, Okla., David Bugh of Batesville, Ark. and Robert Bugh of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Rebecca Bugh of Fort Smith; a sister, Millwee Shelton of Greer, S.C.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is the widow of Quin Wesley Bugh, Sr. Funeral services will be Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Cliff Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
