Jessie Wayne Durham

Jessie Wayne Durham, 55, of Alexander passed away on Friday, March 22nd, 2013. He was born in LIttle Rock to Jessie and Thelma Durham on April 21st, 1957. He worked for Cameron Valve for over 15 years. He was a Godly man who prayed everyday and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant. Wayne loved cars; racing at I-30 speedway and NASCAR. He enjoyed the outdoors and playing with his dogs, Mia, Bell and Boston. He most treasured the time he spent with his family and loved being a husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William and Maggie Durham; his uncle William Durham; his aunts Lilly Kesterson and VernaGay Gentry; his niece Sarah Purtle and his maternal grandparents Cassie Knight and Johnny Vines. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Sheila; his parents Jessie and Thelma; his daughters Timika Johnson and her husband Brent and Melody Kmoch and her husband Josh; his son Junior Chambers and his wife Kim; his sister Brenda Ritchie and her husband Larry; his grandchildren Brandon Johnson, Austin Johnson, Jessalyn Johnson and Sammye Kmoch; his mother and father in law Gene and Audrey Smith; his nieces and nephews Shauna Addie, Steven Ritchie and Jonathan Ritchie; his sister in laws Karen Jackson and Melissa Dickson; his great nephews Caleb Addie and Zachary Ritchie and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss his smile and his presence. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Brother Philip Hinkson officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
