Donald Lee Maxwell

DONALD LEE MAXWELL, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born July 13, 1927 in Berryville, Arkansas, a son of Huston D. and Edna (McCutchen) Maxwell. He departed this life Thursday, March 28, 2013 in his home with family by his side in Berryville, at the age of 85 years. Don was a member of Towering Oaks Church. He worked as a real estate agent and owned real estate agencies and other businesses around the area. Don proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He is survived by one daughter, Marcia and husband David Thrall of Siloam Springs, Ark.; two grandsons, Mark and Ryan Thrall; former wife, Mary Maxwell of Berryville, Ark.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and loved ones. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Huston and Edna Maxwell and one son, Joe Maxwell. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Towering Oaks Church with Brother Larry Montgomery and Brother Mitchell Scitern officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to Towering Oaks Church, 1159 U. S.
