CHARLES EVERT DELOACH, 82, of Maumelle passed away at his home on Thursday, March 28th, 2013. He was born in Bauxite, Ark. and was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Nellie DeLoach as well as his brother Raymond DeLoach. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 60 years Ann and their children, Dee Ann Golden (Emmett) of Little Rock, Belinda Neal (Mike) of Russellville and Mary DeLoach of Maumelle. Other survivors include his grandchildren Justin Hughes of Rogers, Lacey Hughes Loyd (Jeremy) of Russellville and William Barnwell of Maumelle, a nephew Kevin DeLoach and special friends Barbara and Worthy Sykes and Ann Scharfenberg. Mr. DeLoach was of Baptist Faith and a member of Sylvan Hills Baptist Church. He was a Deacon while a member of Central Baptist Church. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean conflict and retired from AT&T; he was also a member of the Woodworkers Association. He was an avid woodworker and brought peace and gladness through his music ministry by visiting and singing for those who were not able to attend church on a regular basis. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. for visitation immediately followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with Bro. Dale Prater officiating.
