Patte Ball Graydon

Patte Ball Graydon, age 90, of Little Rock died on April 17, 2013. She was born in Batesville, Ark. to Lois & G.C. Ball on Oct. 1, 1922. She attended public schools and Hendrix College in Conway, Ark. She was a longtime member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Patte was a member of the Upper Room class, the Arkansas Arts Center and loved teaching Sunday School. Patte was loved by all who knew her. She spent several years as a Boy Scout Den Mother. She was a resident of Little Rock since 1946. In 2004 she moved to Richardson to be closer to her daughter. Patte is survived by her children, Dr. Douglas M. Graydon & Linda of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Mary Graydon Jessen & Scott of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Brian M. Graydon, Lacine B. Graydon of Chattanooga and Cory C. Graydon & Amanda of Atlanta, Ga. Patte is also survived by her first grea-great-grandson, Miller Robinson Graydon. She had the pleasure of meeting & holding just a few short weeks ago; Mary's daughters, May Katherine Jessen of Austin, Texas and Caroline Lee Jessen of Richardson, Texas. A Celebration of her life will be on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church in Little Rock, Ark at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make Memorials to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.
