Frank Paul Kret, Jr.

Frank Paul Kret Jr., age 66, of Benton, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was born September 14, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Kret was a Vietnam Army Veteran and worked as a machinist. He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Kret was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Ruby Kret; parents, Frank Paul Kret Sr. and Mattie Wilson Kret; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mavis and J.C. Lawson; sister, Frances Mack and a brother, Charles Kret. He is survived by his daughter, April Kret of Benton; brother, George Kret of Cabot; two sisters, Martha Taylor and Diana Briseno both of Bakersfield, California and one granddaughter, Keeleigh Hart of Benton. Pallbearers will be David Lawson, Tony Lawson, Kevin Vincent, Justin Vincent, Joe Casey and Erik Havniear. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Hill and Travis Hart. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 6 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Sharon Cemetery.
