Josephine Germany Elledge, 90, passed away April 16, 2013 at Park Place Care Center in Georgetown, Texas. She was born on July 4, 1922 in Keevil, Arkansas to Andrew and Anna Mae Donovan Germany. Josephine grew up in Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas. Jo married Hardin Stewart Elledge ("Mickey") in 1942 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. They were happily married for 46 years. Josephine was a member of St. Mary's Church and Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock and later Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church in Little Rock. Josephine moved to Audubon Pointe in Maumelle after she retired. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in North Little Rock (Marche), Arkansas. Josephine enjoyed playing cards with her friends, spending time with her family, walking around the lake, and playing with her grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her spouse Hardin Elledge, parents Andrew and Anna Mae Germany, her brothers Thomas, William, and Andrew Germany, her sister Edna Bell Germany Cheatham, and her son Michael Stewart Elledge. Josephine is survived by her daughters Judith Stewart of Greer, South Carolina, Deborah (Dwayne) Brown of Round Rock, Texas, son Paul (Janet) Elledge of Roland, Arkansas, sister Nadine Germany Durham of Ogden, Utah, her grandchildren Teresa Moses, Angela Johnson, Michelle Capel, Christopher Elledge, Rachel Elledge, Rebecca Lambert, Forrest Wilson, Camille Wilson, Courtney Brown, her great-grandchildren Brooks Johnson, Max Johnson, Sydney Capel, Sam Choate, Ainsley Choate, Emily Lambert and Locke Elledge, her nieces and nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at Little Rock National Cemetery Pavilion, 2523 Confederate Blvd., Little Rock, Ark., 1 p.m., May 6, 2013. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, alz.org.
