Mary Katherine Raper

Mary Katherine Raper, age 91, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Monday, March 11, 2013. Mrs. Raper was born June 22, 1921 in Little Rock, Ark. to Allen N. Jones and Olive Voss Jones. She was very active in First United Methodist Church, Little Rock, and was instrumental in the creation of the Child Development Center at the church. Mary Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. (Wax) Raper and her son, Richard E. Raper. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Raper; granddaughter, Christi Coster and husband Bill; great-granddaughters, Brittany and Kelsey Coster; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 324 W. 8th Street, Little Rock, Ark.
