Billy Frank Barlow, age 83, of Benton, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013. He was born on April 10, 1930 in Paris, Ark. to the late Orvel and Mabel Barlow. He is predeceased by his parents, grandson, Jesse Barlow, brother-in-law, Joe Lovell and niece, Terry Davis Hyatt. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Buel Dean, son, Bill Barlow (Carol), grandson, Shawn Barlow, great-granddaughter, Abby Barlow and step-great-grandchildren, Nicki Morehead and Rodney Morehead. He is also survived by a brother, Bob Barlow. Other loving family members include sister-in-law, Karin Lovell, nieces, Sharon (Jeff) Glenn, Kelly (Kevin) Long, Alisha (John) Maddalina, nephews, Keith Lovell, Quin Barlow (Donna) and their families. He was born and raised in Paris, Ark., after his marriage to the love of his life, Buel Dean, they moved to Little Rock where he worked for 38 years at Kraftco Building Supply and Hardware. After his retirement, they moved to Mayflower to a lakeside home to enjoy fishing. His favorite hobby was riding motorcycles, touring almost every state. He was a founding member of the Christian Motorcycle Association in Ark. He enjoyed spending the winter months camping in South Texas. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Benton and helping others at CJOHN. He was a 32nd Degree Mason at the Forest Park Masonic Lodge in Little Rock. A special thanks to the Saline Memorial Hospice for their loving care and support during this difficult time. The pallbearers are Cecil Butler, Tom Blackwell, Jerry Deen, Kenneth Hudson, Jim Martin & Jack Terry. Honorary pallbearers will be the Couples Class III of Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9 at Calvary Baptist Church with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Bro. Frank Thurman will be officiating.
