Lawrence Alan Yates

Lawrence Alan Yates, age 66, went home to be with the Lord May 6, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Preceding him in death are his parents Willie Ephriam and Lydia Mae Yates and brothers, Charles and Ray Yates. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Ina Yates; daughters, Tammy (Gary P.) Wilson and Cynthia (James) Childers; grandchildren Gary Alan (Jennifer) Wilson, Jacob Wilson and Megan (James Allen) Baxter; great-grandchildren, Gabe Wilson, Stryder Alan Wilson and James Alan Baxter; sisters, Martha Carter and Maxine Burnett; brothers, J.W. Yates, Corlis E. Yates, Curtis F. Yates, Paul Yates and Gene Yates. Memorial Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
