Jeff Hixson

Jeff Hixson 43, of Haskell passed away on May 9, 2013 with his loving family by his side. He was born on Aug. 26, 1969 to Jesse and Cissy Hixson in Ruston, La. Jeff was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams was the Arkansas Razorbacks, Cubs and the New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Jeff was one of a kind; he was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather and friend. He loved spending time with his family; if you spent much time with Jeff you would always leave with a smile on your face and laughter in your heart. He was employed with Southern Star Dish Network. Jeff is preceded in death by his grandfather, Rudy Hixson; grandparents, Clifford and Wilma Chevalier and his cousin, Kelley Philips. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Angel Hixson; four children, Jessica Hixson Robinson (Rob), Jeffery Michael Hixson, Amanda Hixson and Robert Hixson; grandchildren, Jack Hixson Robinson, Levi Robinson and Brayden Robinson; father, Jesse Hixson (Shelia); mother, Cissy Munson; brother, Jesse Hixson (Jin-Hee), sister, Alicia Bailey; uncles, Jack Hixson (Cheryl), Jim Hixson (Marcie) and Fred Chevalier (Mary Beth) and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
