Lee Von Hoffman Sr.

Mr. Lee Von Hoffman Sr. 83, of Clinton, Ark. went to be with the Lord Friday, May 10, 2013. He was born Oct. 9, 1929 in North Little Rock, Ark. to the late Joseph and Nellie (Jones) Hoffman. He dedicated 22 years of service to the North Little Rock Fire Department. He loved the outdoors, especially camping, but not in regular campgrounds. He loved playing games and especially winning. Loved riding motorcycles, working with cars, wood and making swings. He was the jack of all trades and master of all he set his mind to. We loved everything about him, except his belt :). He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Olivia said that he always took the kids riding on his dozer. He always took care of his family and helped anyone who needed it. He made the best peanut brittle in the whole wide world and most of all God was his rock, his compass, his all. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda Lea (Hoffman) Owen; six sisters, Anita Gill, Kitty Ott, Monnie Stevens Beamsderfer, Clara Haney, Evelyn Taylor, and Christine Welsh. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jo (Bruck) Hoffman; son, Lee Von Hoffman Jr.; daughter, Susan (Hoffman) Chamberlain; daughter, Debora (Hoffman) Milam; daughter, Nannette (Hoffman) Dixon; son, Gordon Keith Hoffman; daughter, Lisa Ann (Hoffman) Riddle; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and many friends. Pallbearers: Anthony Chamberlain, Jason Chamberlain, Jeremy Hoffman, Patrick Owen, Michael Owen, and Shawn Riddle. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 and Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at First Assembly of God Church Clinton, Ark. with Pastor Michael Powers officiating.
