Jerry Allen Taylor

Jerry Allen Taylor Sr., 62, of Cabot, died Thursday, May 16, 2013. He was born April 13, 1951 in Cabot to the late Frank and Isa Taylor. Jerry graduated from Cabot High School, was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He retired from Arkansas Automatic Sprinkler after 25 years, where he worked as a pipefitter. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Elvin "Shorty" Taylor and Bobby Taylor Sr. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Pat McCollum Taylor of Cabot; his son, Jerry Allen Taylor Jr. (Crystal) of Missouri; his daughter, Leah (T.J.) Nugent of Cabot; his brother, Melvin (Helen) Taylor of Manteca, California; his sisters, Donna (Tom) Healea of Cabot and Connie (Ken) Carmichael of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the funeral home, with Pastor Melvin "Heavy" Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
