Mary Ann Rogers

Mary Ann Rogers, 71, of Cabot, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was born Nov. 23, 1941, in Money, Miss. to the late Roy Lee and Jeffie Pearl Holeman. Mrs. Rogers was a Christian woman who loved the Lord and attended Second Baptist Church in West Helena for several years. She was also a loving mother, cherished grandmother and a very devoted wife. Mary Ann enjoyed fishing, playing cards on the computer, gardening and growing numerous flowers and plants, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Jack, Thomas, C.R., Morgan Lee, R.L., and Bud Holeman; one sister, Jewel Holeman and a grandson, Chris Robertson. Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Billy Rogers Sr. of Cabot; children, Cynthia Traylor of Cabot, Teresa Hawkins and husband Donnie of Harrison and Billy Rogers Jr. and wife Sara of Cabot; five grandchildren, Jake, Chelsea, Lance, April and Amanda; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Dyches and husband Buck of Escatawpa, Miss.; her brother, David Holeman of Eden, Miss. and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, May 22, 2013, with funeral services beginning at noon in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
