William Calvin "Cal" Emberton

William Calvin "Cal" Emberton Sr., 84, of Sheridan died Saturday. He was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and previously served with the Grant County Sheriff's Department. Survivors: wife, Reba McCowan Emberton; son, Billy Emberton; daughters, Sharon Grimes and Charlotte King; sisters, Elizabeth Brown and Oleta Allen; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Monday, 6-8 p.m. Funeral: 10 a.m., Tuesday, Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Burial following at Memorial Gardnes Cemetery in Sheridan.
