Marshall R. Mayberry

Marshall R. Mayberry, Jr., of 2602 Whippoorwill Lane, White Hall, Arkansas, born December 9, 1940 in DeWitt, Arkansas, passed away May 16, 2013 of lung cancer. He grew up in Pine Bluff and joined the Army at an early age. Wanting to see more of the world, he later joined the US Navy. He is a Vietnam Veteran, was honorably discharged and retired in 1977. After moving back to Arkansas, he worked various positions at NCTR. His favorite hobbies were working on cars and watching NASCAR. As a beloved husband, father, and brother, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his wife of almost 52 years, Sally Mayberry, his son and wife, Marshall R. and Maria Mayberry, III & family, his daughter, Marietta R. Mayberry & family, his sister-in-law, Trellis Mayberry and family, his niece, Kimberly Mayberry Plato and family, and his nephew, Terry Mayberry & family. He will be buried at sea as requested with full military honors. Memorials can be made to the Arkansas Foodbank or any Animal Rescue Organization.
