Della Releford, 90, of Little Rock was transfixed peacefully into God's eternal garden on Friday, May 17, 2013, at St. Vincent Infirmary with her dutiful daughter "Debrann" at her side. She had been a longtime member of Greater Second Baptist Church. She was known for her unique hats and distinct penchant for fashion, her mastery as a seamstress, her horticultural skills, and her ability to craft and design ANYTHING from clothing to carpentry, building, and upholstery. She was truly a Renaissance woman. Memories of her will be forever cherished by her sons, Nolan Hardnett Jr. (Rosa), Louis Dockery (Frances "Tina"), and Bobby Dockery (Kathy); daughters, Ruth Hardnett-Canada (Bobby) and Deborah Dockery-Betts; nine grandchildren; and two siblings, Benny Mays and Mary Anthony. Funeral services for her will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Greater Second Baptist, 5615 Geyer Springs Road. Family hour will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday also at the church. Services entrusted to Walton GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Your Entrance to Eternity", 2405 South Gaines Street. There will be open visitation from 12-4:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 376-7188.
