Howard Thompson, Sr.

Howard Thompson Sr., 79, of Sweet Home, Ark. departed this life peacefully on May 17, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Bernice Thompson of Sweet Home, Ark.; three daughters; Rose Johnson, Beverly (Sedric) and Cheryl (Nathaniel) Yancy all of Little Rock, Ark.; one son, James (Sandra Rena) Thompson Sr., of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters; four brothers; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family. Home going service will be on Saturday, May 25, 2013, 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church, Sweet Home, Ark. Interment will follow at Rest In Peace Memorial Gardens, Hensley, Ark. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2013, 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 South Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
