Norman Rounsavall, 86, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2013. He was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas on June 6, 1926, and grew up in Palestine, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gladys McGraw Rounsavall; daughter, Angela Rounsavall of Little Rock; son, Gary Rounsavall and his wife Joy of Fairfield, California; 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Casady and Faith Rounsavall; sister, Shirley Jones of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; and a host of extended family members and friends. Norman served during World War II in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. Norman attended Oklahoma Baptist University and later worked as an Assistant Vice-President with First National Bank of Little Rock for many years. He was very active at Parkway Place Baptist Church in Little Rock and often worked with the GOBs (Good Old Boys) there serving the needs of others. He was known for his contagious sense of humor and for his love of God's Word. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300. The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Parkway Place Baptist Church in Little Rock with burial to follow at the Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to: Solano Valley Church, 1307 Oliver Road, Fairfield, Calif. 94534, where Norman and Gladys' son Gary is the senior pastor.
