Patricia "Patti" Massey Ledbetter, 63 of Little Rock, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 after her courageous fight with ovarian cancer. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on December 28, 1949. She graduated from Hall High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, was a member of Chi Omega sorority, where she later served as an advisor and named Outstanding Alumnae. Patti was an active and devoted member of numerous organizations where she loved giving her time and energy including Second Presbyterian Church, Master Gardener, and the Junior League of Little Rock (Sustainer). She spent much time enjoying Lunch Bunch, the CCLR Ladies Golf, Book Club, Couples Golf Group and Mah Jongg group. She was passionate about golfing, fly fishing and playing tennis with her husband, family and friends. With her zest for life, Patti loved to dance, spend time at her river house and travel. Patti is survived by her loving husband, Joel Ledbetter, Jr.; devoted daughters, Kristen Hooper (Donna Elrod); Sandy Henry (Richard); Anne David (Joe); Talbot Cooley (Matthew); Shay Matthews (David); Mitzi Tiffee (Rob) and spirited grandsons, Charlie Henry, Windsor Henry, Joel Cooley, Johnny Cooley, Lawson Tiffee, Fortner Tiffee and Will Pearson. In addition, she leaves behind her beloved dogs, Oliver and Victoria. Patti was preceded in death by her mother, J. Lee Massey; father, Harold W. Massey; aunts, Belle S. Benton and Billie S. Beal; mother in law, Julia B. Ledbetter; and stepson, Charles D. Williamson. Patti, also known as Pooh, was deeply loved and treasured by countless friends and family. She had an amazing smile that warmed hearts the moment everyone saw her. She embraced life to the fullest and exuded a positive energy felt by everyone who came into contact with her. She had a loving, kind and generous soul that made everyone feel like they were her best friend. Her adoring husband happened to get that honor. A special thank you to Dr. Rebecca Stone and her dedicated team at UAMS. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at Second Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. with her grandsons serving as honorary pallbearers. Rev. Karen Akin will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following: Winthrop P.
