Nell Rose Nowlin

NELL ROSE NOWLIN, age 85, of Mabelvale, Ark. previously of Bearden, Ark. passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice in Little Rock, Ark. She was born Jan. 17, 1928 the daughter of the late Obie B. Mosley and Alma (Doherty) Mosley. Nell was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was of Baptist faith. Nell was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, James William Nowlin; one grandson, Bruce Edward Nowlin Jr. "Bubba"; one sister, Gladys "Sister"; three brothers, Mutt Mosley, George Mosley and Edison Mosley. She is survived by four sons, Jimmy Lee Nowlin and Sharon Elam of Kingsland, Ark., James Carl and Lizzie Nowlin, Gary William and Sharon Nowlin all of Mabelvale, Ark., Bruce Edward and Jeanne Nowlin of Little Rock, Ark.; one daughter, Mary and Alton Looney of Mena, Ark.; two brothers, Horace Mosley and Archie Mosley both of Sheridan, Ark.; 39 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Ark. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Buie funeral Home in Sheridan, Ark.
