Lin Shin Cheng

LIN SHIN CHENG, 90, of Visalia, Calif., passed away in the morning hours of May 25, 2013, at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on October 20, 1922, in her native China. She attended college in China and married her life-long companion, Kuang Yong Cheng. The couple raised their family in Shanghai and later moved their children to Taiwan and then on to the United States. Her true love in life was her family. The relationship she shared with her husband, Kuang Yong Cheng, was everlasting and as true as any could be. The two were in separable. Their enduring life together will be remembered and missed. The couple was married for nearly 70 years. She will be remembered for her undeniable ability to seed good things and watch them grow. From her family to her home, everything had its place. She is survived by her three living daughters, Lulu Chi of Little Rock, Ark., Jen-Jen Liang of Springfield, Mo., and Pei-Pei Bigbee of Austin, Texas; her living son, Hao Cheng of San Francisco, Calif.; her grandchildren, Barton Kuen-Yeu Liang and Laura Kuen-Miin Liang of Springfield, Mo., Jasen Chi and Jacob Chi of Little Rock, Ark., Hope Bigbee of Austin, Texas, and Deborah Hsu and Peter Hsu of Fresno, Calif. She is preceded in death by her daughter, San-San Hsu of Fresno, Calif. and her husband Kuang Yong Cheng of Visalia, Calif. Graveside services will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2013. Pallbearers are Jacob Chi, Jasen Chi, Bill Chi, Jyh-Peyng Liang, Terry Bigbee, and Robert Tju.
