Albert Glenn Castle

Albert Glenn Castle, 64, of Ward died Sunday, May 26, 2013. He was born August 22, 1948 to the late Albert Burnip and Etta Sue Castle Rose. Mr. Castle served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1977, including a tour in Vietnam. He further served his country in the Army and Air National Guards for several years. He enjoyed fishing, eating lobster and his Tuesday Wal-Mart trips. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially taking them to different zoos. In addition to his parents, Mr. Castle was preceded in death by one sister, Kay Glover; his grandson, Jackson Castle and his stepfather, Andrew Rose. Mr. Castle is survived by his wife Christy Louthen Castle; three children, Bryant Castle of Snohomish, Washington, Derek Castle (Amanda) and Deidra Castle Waller (Ryan), all of Cabot; one sister, Diane Miller of Mabelvale and three grandchildren, Ryanne Waller, Ashley Waller and Eva Castle. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Old Austin Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home and Crematory (501) 843-5816. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
