Richard L. "Dick" Dickinson

Richard L."Dick" Dickinson, Jr., age 77 of Monticello passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born July 10, 1930 in Dyess, Ark., he was the son of the late Richard L. Dickinson Sr. and Hazel Hammock Porter Dickinson. He was a retired Vice President of Sales with SeaArk Boats, a 1959 graduate of Arkansas A&M College (now UAM) with a degree in Business. Dick was a member of First United Methodist Church of Monticello, was a former member of the Monticello Lions Club, Rotary Club and Ducks Unlimited and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Pine Bluff. His hobbies included deer hunting and duck hunting. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Gloria Cline Dickinson of Monticello; two sons, Rick Dickinson of Monticello and Todd Dickinson and wife, Leslie of Monticello; two grandsons, Cole Dickinson and Tyler Dickinson both of Monticello; two granddaughters, Alisha Dickinson and Emily Dickinson both of Monticello; one sister, Helen Howard and husband, Lloyd of Rogers, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery.
