Marguerite Jones Bowman

MARGUERITE JONES BOWMAN, 103, of Little Rock, entered eternal rest on Oct. 28, 2013. She was born to the late John Jones and Nancy Profit Jones and she was the youngest of four children and the only girl. She was married to William H. Bowman, who preceded her in death, for nearly 50 years. She was always active in church and served as Sunday School Superintendent for 25 years. She was also active with the Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She'll be forever remembered for her generosity, dedication and service to her family, church and community. She is survived by her nieces, Ivory Pitts and family, Inez Johnson and family; great niece and caregiver, Donna M. Jones, great niece, Cecilia Williams; great nephew, Terry Williams and a host of other relatives and friends. Home going services will be Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, 11 a.m., at Greater Archview Baptist Church, 1720 W. 23rd, Little Rock. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, 7102 W. 12th, Little Rock, Ark. Family visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S.
