Barbara Ann Perez

Barbara Ann Perez, 74, of Cabot died Saturday, November 2, 2013. She was born April 18, 1939 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late Harold Rufus and Isabelle Fuquay Leckie. Ms. Perez enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, and bowling. She loved to cross stitch and to camp at the lake. She loved country music and dancing when she could. She loved Elvis Presley and visited Graceland on numerous occasions, she also had a passion for basketball and the LA Lakers her favorite player was Lamar Odom, as she became older, she became an adventurist and loved wanting to explore new things. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph A. Perez, Jr. and an aunt, Lou Fuquay. Ms. Perez is survived by her children, Katherine A. Perez of Jacksonville, Juan V. Perez Jr. and his wife Tammy of North Little Rock, Michael A. Perez of Houston, Texas and Joseph A. Perez and his wife Linda of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brothers, Gene Leckie of Alabama and Richard Leckie of Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Josh Williams, Cory Hart, Trevor Perez, Gabrielle Perez, Dominique Perez and his wife Tiffanie, Michael Perez Jr. and Nichole Danielle Perez and six great-grandchildren, Sarah Williams, Scarlett Williams, Xoe Winter Mozisek, Trinity, Destiny, and Gauge Perez. Funeral services will be 2: p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 in the chapel of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
