Gretchen J. Taylor, 80 of Conway, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bay, Arkansas on October 2, 1933, she was a daughter to the late Phillip and Lois Stewart Rushin. She was a graduate of Pangburn High School and obtained her teaching degree from Arkansas State Teacher College. She loved travel, sports, art, gardening and being with her family. Gretchen was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, P.E.O. and enjoyed Bible study. Those left to mourn her passing are, her husband of 61 years, Tommy Taylor; sons :Michael Taylor of North Little Rock and Randy Taylor ( Dorothy) of Conway; a sister, Beverly Milam (Kelly) of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. Michael Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with Ronnie Surratt, Tony Salter, Rick McCoy, Mike Linn, Dr. Jimmy Flannigan and Matt Jetter serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are, Kelli Milam, Dale Thompson, Robbie Wood, Jack Lewis and Dennis Fulmer. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.at the funeral home.
