Dorothy Leo Pace Jones

Dorothy L. Pace Jones, 83, of Batesville, (Bethesda Community) died Tuesday. She was born August 3, 1930 in Chinquapin, Arkansas and was the daughter of Robert Pace and Jessie Wright Pace. She worked at International Shoe Factory and Westport Casuals in Batesville. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Betty Armstrong; cousins, Tom and Leo Wright; one niece; one nephew; and caregivers, Debbie Andrews and Trina Shetron who loved and cared for her like their own. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James "Deacon" Jones; and brother, Dallas Pace. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Alan West officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Leo Wright, Tom Wright, Dennis Weir, Colin Schroeder, Shannon Shetron and Shane Crider. Honorary pallbearers are Alan West and Dr. Greg Neaville. Visitation is from 5-6 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
