James R. Hines

James R. Hines, 77, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013. He was born in Jacksonville to the late Elmer and Willie Hines. James was preceded in death by his parents and son, James Randall Hines. James was a member of Central Baptist Church. He retired as an escrow officer at Lenders Title Company. He was an avid sportsman enjoying bowling, tennis, golf and working in his yard and garden. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Barbara Hines; two sons, Jon Russell Hines and Teddie Smith; three daughters, Pamela Stanton (Chris), Angela Welsh (Darin) and Tammy Foshee; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel,. 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Hart's Chapel Cemetery in Curtis, Ark.
