Charles Anthony (Tony) Dearing

Charles Anthony (Tony) Dearing, age 41, of Albuquerque, N.M., died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. He was born in Little Rock, Ark., to Charles William Dearing and the late Patsy Gayle Martin Dearing. Tony was a heavy equipment mechanic for Dearing Construction Services in Arkansas and performed stucco and landscaping services in New Mexico. He was respectful and kind and had twinkling blue eyes. Children were drawn to him because of his sweet, child-like spirit. He had a dry sense of humor and was a compelling story teller. Tony is survived by his father, Bill Dearing of Sherwood, Ark.; sister, Jill A. Dearing of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Lawrence W. Dearing of Foley, Ala.; along with many other extended family members. A memorial will be held Sunday, Nov. 17, 8 a.m. at St. Martin's Hospitality Center (1201 3rd Street NW, Albuquerque, N.M. 87102) where Tony was deeply involved, having lived and worked there.
