Bessie Marie Covington Thompson

Bessie Marie Covington Thompson went to her heavenly home on November 9, 2013. She's preceded in death by her husband, Curtis C. Thompson; son, Curtis Tyrone Thompson; five brothers; four sisters and one niece. For many years she was a longtime faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church on Daisy L. Gaston Bates & Ringo Street, Little Rock, Ark. She was active in her church working as well as in Sunday School. Her loving survivors include: son, Guy L. (Rachel) Thompson; daughter, Sheila D. Thompson all of Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one niece; and one great- nephew. Home going services will be on Thursday, November 14, 2013, 10 am. Viewing will also be on Thursday, 9:30-10 a.m., prior to service, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 S.
