William G. "Bill" Wylie

William G. "Bill" Wylie, 86, of Hampton went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 15, 1926 in Carthage, Arkansas. He was a retired logger, farmer and Calhoun County Judge; serving 1979 thru 1988. He was a member of Camp Ground Presbyterian Church in Hampton. Bill served on many boards and was an active member of various clubs. He is preceded in death by his parents, John E. Wylie, Sr. and Annie B. Gillis Wylie; daughter, Ann-Marie Wylie Carter; four brothers, Richard "Dick" Wylie, John E. Wylie Jr., Gene Wylie, and Rex Wylie; one sister, Betty Ann Wylie. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wylie of Hampton; five sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Sara Wylie of Little Rock, Don and Janis Wylie of Little Rock, Tim and Leslie Wylie of Little Rock, Tom and Suzanne Wylie of Texarkana, Texas, Robbin and Stacy Wylie of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Douglas "Sonny" and Paula Wylie of Leola; two sisters, Mary Lou Wylie Talbert of Benton, Joy Wylie Rogers of Leola; 10 grandchildren, Shana (Josh), Brooke (Mike), Michael, Christopher (Brandi), Benjamin (Lesley), Heather (Chuck), Justin (Leah), Andrew, Allison (Joe), Alexandra, and Colton; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family. Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Camp Ground Presbyterian Church in Hampton with Rev.
