Bonnie Harden Alberson

Bonnie Harden Alberson, age 84, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Bryant. She was born August 12, 1929 in Rogers, Arkansas to the late William and Luella McCollum Keith. Mrs. Alberson was a Registered Nurse at Rebsamen Medical Center in Jacksonville for many years. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Past President of the Jacksonville Chapter for the American Cancer Society and member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Alberson was an avid bridge player and was a member of several bridge clubs in the area. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Harden in 2000; son, John William Harden in 1995 and a daughter, Sharon Jones in 2004. On February 25, 2004, she married Bill Alberson in Jacksonville. She is survived by her husband Bill Alberson of North Little Rock; children, Robert Keith (Mitzi) Harden of Jacksonville, Thomas Franklin (Anne) Harden of Bryant, Susan Diane (Tim) Southerland of Cabot, Mike (Melanie) Alberson of Jacksonville, Robert (Dollye) Alberson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Don (Julie) Alberson of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Karen Donahue of San Antonio, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Willa Voyles of Conway. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Chapel with Brother Ben Leonard officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to the Esther D. Nixon Library, 703 W. Main, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.
