Henry Mitchell, Jr.

Henry Mitchell, Jr. was born July 30, 1932 to the late Henry Mitchell, Sr. and Maggie Mitchell. He confessed Christ at an early age in Winnsboro, Louisiana. After serving time in the United States Armed Forces, he worked at the VA hospital at Fort Roots for 15 years. He joined in Holy Matrimony in 1979 to Juanita Mitchell. After moving to Helena, Arkansas, he worked at the Helena Regional Center as a Nursing Assistant for 20 years, where he earned many awards. Henry leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Juanita Mitchell; children: sons, Jerry (Freda) Mitchell, Dale Mitchell, Sylvester (Ester) Mitchell; daughters, Robbie Washington, Juanita (Loyal) Bullock, Tequila (Nelson) Summage, Gwendolyn Gray and Linda Bryant; siblings, Millie Trotter, Magadalene (Willie) Davison and Mary Ida LaBron; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and three brothers. The family hour is 6:30-7:30 p.m., Friday, November 22 at Evangelistic Ministries. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
