James Rounsavall

James Cecil Rounsavall, age 97, of Sherwood, passed away November 21, 2013 and was born in Hazen, Arkansas on August 22, 1916. He was a retired officer in the Army National Guard, retiring in 1976 after 32 years of service to his country. Mr. Rounsavall was a faithful member of the Westpark Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where he served as an elder for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bryan Rounsavall and Sally, children James W. Rounsavall (Fran), Steven Rounsavall , Teresa Daves (Dalton);one sister Nancy Pavone (John) and one brother Fred Rounsavall (Johnnie Fay) as well as one sister in law Billie Jean Rounsavall; three grandchildren, Carrie Rounsavall, James Rounsavall (Tina) and Leah Daves; three great grandchildren, Kyle Osborne (McKinley), Paige and Clay Rounsavall; one great great grandchild, Victor Osborne, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and friends. The family would like to extend special appreciation to Dr. Jeffery Neuhauser, Dr. Michael Berry and Dr. Joe Pinney and their nursing staff and all caregivers involved in his care. We are deeply grateful for everything you have done. A special thanks to the brothers and sisters of Westpark Congregation for their love and support these last few months. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. with burial to follow. www.griffinleggettresthills.com
