Calvin Pollard

Mr. Calvin Pollard, 88, of Bradford, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013. He was born July 25, 1925 in Bradford. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearlie (Pitts) Pollard; one son, Loyd Grissom; two brothers, Sylvester and Elgin Pollard. Mr. Pollard is survived by two daughters, JoEtta Allen (Charles) of Bryant and LaVerne Jackson (Bob) of Alexander; one brother, Norman Pollard (Ermagene) of Little Rock; a sister-in-law, Barbara Pollard of North Little Rock; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at Heard Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Sunday, 5-7 p.m. Arrangements by Jackson's Newport Funeral Home. www.jacksonsfh.com.
