James Cecil Rounsavall

JAMES CECIL ROUNSAVALL, age 97, of Sherwood, passed away Nov. 21, 2013 and was born in Hazen, Ark. on Aug. 22, 1916. He was a retired officer in the Army National Guard, retiring in 1976 after 32 years of service to his country. Mr. Rounsavall was a faithful member of the Westpark Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where he served as an elder for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bryan Rounsavall and Sally. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Cecile Emmaline Rounsavall; children, James W. Rounsavall (Fran), Steven Rounsavall, Teresa Daves (Dalton); one sister, Nancy Pavone (John); and one brother, Fred Rounsavall (Johnnie Fay); as well as one sister-in-law, Billie Jean Rounsavall; three grandchildren, Carrie Rounsavall, James Rounsavall (Tina) and Leah Daves; three great grandchildren, Kyle Osborne (McKinley), Paige and Clay Rounsavall; one great great grandchild, Victor Osborne; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and friends. The family would like to extend special appreciation to Dr. Jeffery Neuhauser, Dr. Michael Berry and Dr. Joe Pinney and their nursing staff and all caregivers involved in his care. We are deeply grateful for everything you have done. A special thanks to the brothers and sisters of Westpark Congregation for their love and support these last few months.
