Lee Brents

Lee Brents, age 97, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013. He was born August 21, 1916, in Cleveland, Arkansas, a son of Harvey Allen and Grace Scoggins Brents. He retired from Crompton Mills, and was of the Methodist faith. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Betty (Jim) Wade of Morrilton, and Glenna (Frank) Brown of Waldo; son, Bobby (Fran) Brents of Hattieville; five grandchildren, Jamie Coleman, Terri Bounds, Billy Brents, Kim Riley, and Shannon Wright; 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews will also mourn the loss of this kind, generous, remarkable man who loved everybody. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille Halbrook Brents; sisters, Orphia Brents Robinson and Dorothy Brents Greer; brothers, Dee and Jerriel Brents. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Walter Etheridge officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
