Mrs. Amanda Whitfield 86, of Wrightsville Ark., widow of Eddie J. Whitfield transitioned November 21, 2013 at UAMS. She is survived by two sons, Eddie Whitfield (Jackie), Fredrick Whitfield of Wrightsville, Ark., one sister, Dorothy White Hampton (William), one sister-in-law, Verline Lilly, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Homegoing services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013, 11 a.m., Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Family hour will be Friday, November 29, from 6 til 7 p.m. Both services will be held at Beebe Chapel CME Church, 16109 Hwy. 365 South. Burial to follow at Rest In Peace Cemetery, Hensley, Ark.
