Shirley Anne Smart

Shirley Anne Grear Smart, 90, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. She was a retired Professor of Music at Southern Arkansas University, member of the Retired Teachers Association and the First Presbyterian Church. Shirley is survived by her son, Larry Smart and wife Kathie of Rowlett, Texas; daughter, Susan Gutierrez and husband Chris of Shreveport, Louisiana; a brother, Jay Watson Grear, Jr. and wife Janet, three grandchildren, Ashley Marie Smart, John Tyler Smart, and Andrew Nathaniel Swan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be prior to services on Saturday at the church.
