Lowell Raymond Kelley

Lowell Raymond Kelley, 84 of Beebe, Ark., was born Nov. 29, 1928 in Sand Town, Ark., and died on Nov. 26, 2013. Lowell retired from the United States Army after serving his country for 20 years. He also retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company in Aurora, Ill., after 10 years. The last 19 years of his working life was at Jacksonville Air Force Base Commissary. In his life he found great pleasure in hunting, fishing, gardening and spending great amounts of time with his grandchildren. Lowell was preceded in death by his mother Tola Barnett; his son Larry Raymond Kelley; his brother Lawrence Barnett Jr.; and great-grandson Lowell Raymond Kelley Jr. Lowell is survived by his wife of 63 years, Reva Mae Bowers; son Leslie Ray (Peri) Kelley of Ashdown, Arkansas; daughter Linda R. Kelley Dachenhaus of Aurora, Ill.; grandchildren Scott L. Kelley, Lowell R. (Marisa) Kelley, Heather M. (Chris) Schaeffer, Amber M. (Jeff) Mazur, Jennifer (Mike) Sondelski, Alexandrea R. (Stephen) Kneece, Chaz R. Dachenhaus (Morgan), Jonathan C. Dachenhaus, Jason Felty and Casey Kelley; three sisters; Alline (Ed) Byrum, Betty Barnett Sharp, Sandra (Howard) Cavender; nine great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews and extended family members Rose (Jack) Grewer, Mabel Park, Becky Kelley and Dubby Barnett. Memorials may be made to Beebe Christian Outreach or the Beebe Angel Tree with donation made at Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday Nov. 30, 2013 at 3 p.m., in the Chapel at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe Ark.
