Henry Nichols Camferdam, 88,of Hot Springs, Ark. passed away September 28, 2013. Hank, born in Memphis, TN to Elsa and Clarence on April 2, 1925, was a graduate of Memphis State University and an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII. He retired as an executive from IBM Corp. He was a United Way Chairman, Chamber of Commerce President, an active Rotarian and avid hobbyist. He loved building model airplanes, woodworking, traveling and most of all, life. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his never-ending energy and positive outlook. He is preceded in death by his wife Jean and his wife Dana, his sister Margaret, as well as his best friend and twin brother, Bud. He was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He is survived by his sister Eleanor (Bob) Pelts (Bob), his six children, Lynn Falkner (Steve Romweber) and Henry (Christine) Camferdam in Indianapolis, Steve (Maryellen) Camferdam in Seal Beach, Pat (Richard) Chappell in Loudon, Janet Wilson in Kauai and Carol(Dean) King in Charlotte. Hank will be missed by his grandchildren Jessica, Sherwood, Zack, Ashley, Taylor, Nick, Harry, Emmett, Owen and Mack as well as his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Angela Meeks, his caregiver for her loving service and friendship. Services will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Episcopal Church in Hot Springs, Ark., Gross Funeral Home of Hot Springs, Ark. is handling the funeral arrangements.
