Mrs. Ada Bays Rosen, 93, of Hamburg, died Sunday, October 6, 2013. Mrs. Rosen was a native and life long resident of Ashley County. She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1940. She was a homemaker and she retired from the Hamburg Shirt Factory. Mrs. Rosen was one of the founding members of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Nick Rosen in 1996; her parents, Alonzo & Neelie Swan Bays; a sister, Addie Tucker; two brothers, Delmar & David C. Bays and a half brother, Dea Wilson. She is survived by her children, Chester Rosen and wife Shela, of Crossett; Donald Rosen and wife, Angela, of Hamburg; Ann Toler and husband, Burl, Reba Gray and husband, Glenn all of Crossett; seven grandchildren; Laura Gray, Angie Hopper, Chad Rosen, Ashley Gray, Mark Gray, Nash and Nick Rosen, three great-grandchildren, Madison Gray, Tristan & Zeke Hopper; a special nephew, Mike Bays and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Boseman and Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroad Cemetery. Pallbearers are Nash Rosen, Nick Rosen, Mark Gray, Robert Gray, Darren Hopper, Mike Bays, Norman Swan and Douglas Neal. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Moran, Alex & Betty Tyson, Steve & Vicki Naff, Gene & Sharon Roberts, Eddie & Diann Black and the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, 803 Ashley 95 Road, Hamburg, Ark. 71646. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
