Martina Lea Bowers

Martina Lea Grant Bowers, age 33, of Edgemont, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs. Born in Batesville, Arkansas, on December 7, 1979, she was the daughter of Martin Lynn Grant and Jennie Lee Bittle Baldridge. Martina worked as a certified nursing assistant for White River Area on Aging. She was a member of the Sunny Slope General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jim and Dollie Grant. Martina is survived by her husband, Justin Bowers of Blue Eye, Missouri; one daughter, Airyanna Nevaeh Bowers of Edgemont; her father, Martin Grant; her mother and stepfather, Jennie and Bryan Baldridge of Quitman; four brothers, Briar Grant of Drasco, Russell Baldridge and his wife, Ami of Higden, Blake Baldridge of Tumbling Shoals, and Bryce Geiger of Woodrow, and her maternal grandparents, Emery and Frances Bittle. Martina is also survived by other relatives, including her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Sunny Slope General Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Decker officiating.
