James Walter Richards, 74, of Little Rock departed this life on October 4, 2013. He is survived by four sons: Calvin (Cora) Taylor of Lonoke, Bruce Richards of Chicago, Illinois, Frank (Juliet) Richards of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Theodis Richards of Sherwood, Arkansas, seven daughters: Ann (David) Ellis, Marecia Griffin, Vernessia (John) Bryant, Pamela (Willie) Logan all of Little Rock, Jeanette (Anthony) Bailey-Brown of Sherwood, Toynia Richards of Jacksonville, and Tisha Richards of Rockford, Illinois, sister: Jo Emma Carter of Little Rock, 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. James enjoyed working for the Shelby County Sheriffs Department in Memphis, Tenn. and Groendyke Trucking Company until he became disabled.
