Doris May Fredrich (Maiden Name: Rogers), age 83, of Little Rock and Romance, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. She was born on July 30, 1930 in West Point to her parents, James Joe Rogers and Virginia Lee Rogers. Doris was the fifth of 6 children. She married Henry E Fredrich in Little Rock, Ark. on February 12, 1958. She attended Kensett high School. She was a long-time resident of Little Rock and later moved to Romance after her husband, Henry E. Fredrich died. She was retired from Timex where she was there for over 35 years. Doris was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved going to the casinos. Doris will be remembered by her loving family. Doris is survived by her brother Robert Porter Rogers, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased in death by father, James Joe Rogers, twin brother, Bill J. Rogers, mother Virginia Lee Hinson Rogers, brother James Joe Rogers, sister, Katherine Elizabeth Estes, husband, Henry E. Fredrich, and sister, Forrest Virginia Rogers Armstrong. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9th & Sherman Streets, with Fr. Jason Tyler, celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
