Ruth Faye (Andrews) Keopple

RUTH FAYE (ANDREWS) KEOPPLE, 85, of Little Rock, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013. She was born Dec. 28, 1927 in Little Rock to C.L. and Vida Andrews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Andrews; and her husband, C.W. Keopple Jr. Ruth graduated from Little Rock High School. She was a devoted mother and the epitome of a coach's wife. She supported her husbands' Hall High Warriors and served as the dorm mother for the Razorbacks during the Ken Hatfield years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as "Bubba." She is survived by her children, Robbie Keopple, Karen Keopple (Jack Pearson) of Little Rock, Bill Keopple, wife Marsha of Texarkana, Ark.; two grandchildren, Landon Keopple, wife Dana of Magnolia, Ark., Brittany Fowler, husband Ryan of Diana, Texas; and by two great-grandchildren, Kinslee Keopple and Harper Fowler. Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth with Rev. Rob Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
