Suzanne Vaccaro Hardeman

SUZANNE VACCARO HARDEMAN, age 76, passed away in Little Rock, Ark., on Aug. 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Suzanne was a long-time resident of Little Rock. She was born in Memphis, Tenn. on Feb. 2, 1937. She was raised in Forrest City, Ark., and later attended college at Sarah Lawrence in Bronxville, N.Y., and Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School. In 1960, Suzanne married Dr. Richard Johnson and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. While living there, she had two sons, Scott and Pierce. Later on, she moved to Little Rock, where she spent most of the rest of her life. Suzanne is survived by her son, Scott Johnson, Hawaii; a brother, James Vaccaro, of Madison, Wis.; two nephews, Marc Vaccaro of Madison, Wis. and Todd Vaccaro of Los Angeles, Calif.; and several cousins from Forrest City. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Tyler Hardeman, of Little Rock; a son, Pierce Johnson, of Honolulu; her parents, Leo and Frances (Fraser) Vaccaro, of Forrest City; and a brother, Leo Vaccaro Jr., of Forrest City. Memorial services were held on Aug. 25, 2013. Suzanne was buried in the Vaccaro family plot at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
