Melba Azalea Hutson

Melba Hutson, 93, died October 22. A daughter of riverboat Captain S.E. Hutson and Pearl "Mitchell" Hutson, Melba was born December 24, 1919 in Clarendon. After graduation she cared for her parents until their deaths. She moved to Little Rock and worked twenty years for Churchman Rhea Drugstore. She retired to Memphis and cared for her sister and brother-in-law until their deaths. After her brother's death she and her sister-in-law moved to Little Rock. Later Melba became a resident of Brookside Nursing Home. She loved God and with a sweet, caring spirit spoke kindness about everyone. Survivors; nephew, Dr. Sanford Hutson III and wife, Melinda of Springdale and their three children, Bryan (Angie) Hutson, Kyle (Gina) Hutson, Kristin Wadley, three great-grand nephews and one great-grandniece.
